North Wollongong Beach is a great place for a barbecue with full facilities provided. It also has a bike and walking track, and free parking.
North Wollongong Beach is not a dog friendly beach, however simply cross the lagoon to the north to find the off lead dog area. Dogs are permitted on the walk ways and cycle tracks.
